Ashwagandha has short, fine, silver/gray branched hairs that cover most of this vibrant green plant. The roots have a strong smell, similar to the odor of green tomatoes. Given proper temperatures, soil, and adequate watering, this plant should be ready to harvest in the first year. Fun fact: these plants can be used to produce insect repellent and it has numerous health benefits!
